We all have a lazy person in our lives. For me, that person is me! I like to think of it as being creatively efficient.
But if you’re looking for the best gift for your lazy loved one (or yourself), then look no further!
No seriously, don’t waste your energy looking anywhere else. I did all the work for you. Here are my top 10 gift ideas for lazy people!

I know I’m not the only mom that always gets stuck shopping for gifts for birthdays, Christmas, or any other type of gift-giving holiday. I guess it comes with the social gender norms. Ugh.
Well, luckily there are lots of gift guides available to make holiday or birthday shopping a little easier.
1. Amazon Echo Dot
I love this little contraption. You can ask Alexa to do some pretty cool things for you, and she can hear you from across the room.
So you don’t even need to get up to get your phone to see what the weather is like outside. (spoiler alert: it’s probably not worth getting up off the couch to go outside. It’s too hot or too cold.)
Here are some fun things you can ask or tell Alexa to do:
Tell you a joke. Some of them are funny. Some are stupid. She’s pretty good at Dad jokes.
Play Jeopardy or Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. There are lots of games you can play without ever getting up.
Set a timer so you don’t forget to switch the laundry out and have to rewash it… again.
Add things to your shopping list so you don’t forget. Or just have her order them from Amazon. I forget things immediately so I just yell “ALEXA, ORDER TOOTHPASTE!” from the bathroom, and boom, it’s at my door in two days.
Dim your lights, close your curtains, or adjust your thermostat if you’re fancy and have things that can connect to it.
Play music so your toddler doesn’t complain that the TV isn’t on.
Make her say nice things to you by saying “Alexa, Simon says ‘Congratulations on being the best mom ever. You are a beautiful sunflower.'” She repeats anything you say after Simon says.
Send a voice message to other Echo or Dot owners. My BFF and I send messages to each other all the time. And you can CALL them! Hands-free entire room speakerphone is great when you’re both chasing after toddlers. Or if your phone is not within arm’s reach.
2. Forever Lazy Feetie Pajamas
I’m super jealous of the feetie pajamas that my toddler gets to wear. They look so comfy! I want jammies like that, too.
They’re perfect for all day lounging while you binge watch your show. (I recommend X-Files because I’m a nerdy mom.)
3. An Instant Pot and Dump Meal Recipes
The biggest thing on Pinterest right now are dump meals. That may not sound appetizing for you, but they’re the lazy cook’s dream.
The basic concept involves putting all of your ingredients into a freezer bag for later. Once you’re ready to cook the meal, you just dump the contents into the Instant Pot and let it do its thing. Boom. Dinner.
If you want to throw together a gift idea for your lazy friend or relative (or yourself, no judgement.) You’ll need a couple of things:
4. A Roomba
Someone smart invented a robot that vacuums your house. That person needs an award. The roomba comes highly recommended by my coworker, and it has been on my wishlist since before it was invented.
5. A 10-foot charging cable
I’m that person whose phone is always dead but never wants to stay within 3 feet of an outlet.
Just make sure you know which kind of phone they have. You’ll need a lightning cable for iPhones but most Androids and other phones use micro USB cords.
6. Disposable Dishware
You’re probably thinking this isn’t exactly environmentally friendly. You would be correct.
But for lazy people, disposable dishes mean you don’t have to do dishes. Sorry, environment. It’s been a tough week, and ain’t nobody got time for dishes.
I buy paper plates and bowls at least once every couple of months just to take a break from doing dishes. Being lazy saves my sanity a little.
7. A Pack of All Occasion Greeting Cards
The best gift you could give a lazy person is the gift of not having to worry about buying a card at the last second.
Lazy people tend to also be procrastinators. Save your lazy pal a trip to Walgreen’s 10 minutes before a birthday party, and get them a pack of cards to keep on hand.
8. An Automatic Pet Feeder
Need a gift idea for a lazy friend who has a dog or a cat? How about an automatic pet feeder.
I can’t tell you how many times Mr. Meowgi has to remind me to put food in his bowl.
This one is automatic and you can set up to 4 meals per day.
You can even record your voice calling your pet to eat. Isn’t technology amazing? Now you can outsource feeding your pet to a robot.
9. A mini fridge
You can keep a mini fridge next to your desk, your couch, your gaming area, or in your man cave.
That way you don’t have to get up to get more drinks! Laziness = comfy.
10. Amazon Prime Gift Membership
I honestly don’t know how I would live without my Amazon Prime. The two-day free shipping is the best way to shop.
We don’t have to run to the store to get a bunch of stuff. We can just order it on Amazon and it shows up at our door two days later.
Subscribe and Save is a cool option that lets you subscribe to certain items so they automatically get delivered every month or every two or three months depending on what you set it for.
I don’t have to remember to order diapers or my husband’s hair gel. lol

I think I am going to invest in a mini-fridge for my upstairs craft room. I need to keep hydrated while I work. (That’s my story and I am sticking to it!)
