Howdy! I’m Niki.
I have a wonderful little girl that I call Toot. She came into our lives butt first in July 2015. Her dad is my spectacular husband, B. I blog full-time, mom full-time, and want to sleep full-time.
I started this blog to share my experiences as a new mom and now as a mom of a preschooler. I love to share parenting tips and mom hacks to help other tired moms save a little bit of their sanity.
Toot was born right before about 15 of my friends had their babies, and I’m constantly giving them tips and recommendations. If you follow my blog, it’s like being part of my mom tribe.

This blog is for you if….
- You’re a mommy-to-be
- You’re a new mom of a baby
- You’re a toddler mom
- You’re a preschool mom
Motherhood is a journey. Yes, I know that sounds cliche. But it is. As soon as you have one part figured out, suddenly you’re into new territory. So I have articles from the very beginning, pregnancy, through the baby stage and into toddlerhood. We’re just entering preschool stage, and I have some posts on that too.
I’m going to try my best to help you out as much as I can. This mom thing is hard. We’re all in this together.
Yes, I’m a professional blogger
Blogging is a huge part of my life right now, and I love the community that comes with it.
I quit my job in June 2018 to be a professional blogger because I was earning enough money that I didn’t need my job in HR anymore.
If you’d like to start a blog, I have a 7 Day Start a Blog Challenge that will show you step-by-step how to set up a blog.

My amazing husband, B, came up with the concept and drew it out freehand. And my brother-in-law, Brad, digitized it for us.
