1. Wherever You Go
We got this beautiful picture book in one of our Bookroo subscription boxes.
It’s not about Easter so you can enjoy it any time of the year.
It’s a book that I love to read aloud because of the way the words flow. The illustrations are gorgeous too.
2. Peppa’s Easter Egg Hunt
Lately, Toot has been obsessed with Peppa Pig. I’m getting her this book for her basket this year since we don’t have any other Peppa books.
If your toddler loves Peppa Pig too, you should check out our top Peppa Pig toys.
3. Happy Easter, Mouse!
Remember the mouse from If You Give a Mouse a Cookie? (One of my favorites when I was a kid) He has an Easter book too!
The whole series of books is just fun to read. They’re the first ones I reach for when it’s story time.
4. Llama Llama Easter Egg
Of course, Llama Llama Red Pajama has his own Easter book too!
Have you seen the new Netflix show? Llama llama is becoming very popular.
I like the rhyming structure of these books. They’re very fun to read aloud.
5. The Easter Bunny Flap Book
Toddlers love to lift flaps and see what’s underneath. This one is super cute!
6. Duck & Goose: Here Comes the Easter Bunny
We got this Duck & Goose book last year just after Easter. It was in the bookshop at our library for only 50 cents! I love finding cheap books.
This one is really cute, and she loves Duck & Goose.
7. The Itsy Bitsy Bunny
This is a board book with a bunny version of the Itsy Bitsy Spider song!
“The itsy bitsy bunny was hopping up the trail
Down fell the baskets past his tiny tail
Out came his friends to help him on his way.
For the itsy bitsy bunny was planning Easter day.”
8. Peek-a-boo Bunny
What toddler doesn’t love peek-a-boo?
9. Yoga Bunny
This bunny can teach your toddler yoga.
He tries to teach his friends in the forest but they’re all too busy. They need to learn to slow down and relax with yoga.
There are some simple yoga poses your toddler can try too.
10. That’s Not My Bunny
One of the best book series for babies and toddlers is the That’s Not My… board book series.
All of the pages have a touch sensory element. You go through many bunnies to find your bunny. Each one has a part that’s not quite right so you know it’s not your bunny.
They also have That’s Not My Chick and That’s Not My Lamb which are also Easter animals. There are so many options so you can pick almost any animal.
11. How to Catch the Easter Bunny
One of our favorite Easter books by the same people who do all of the How to catch books. We have How to Catch a Snowman too.
“I’ve been working long and hard
with all my peeps and crew.
We’ve made the eggs, and now I’m here
to bring them all to you!”
12. Poppy and Sam’s Easter Egg Hunt
“Poppy and Sam are searching for Easter eggs on Apple Tree Farm. Children will love looking through the holes in this charming book to discover the colorful eggs, following fingertrails to trace the flight of a butterfly or bee, and spotting Daisy the cow, Clucky the hen, and Rusty the pig along the way.”
13. The Story of the Easter Bunny
This is a story about how a bunny became the Easter Bunny!
This is probably one of the best Easter books you can find.
14. Ollie’s Easter Eggs
I love Ollie books. This is a cute little board book about a little gosling and all of his emotions about Easter.
He gets impatient while waiting (sound like anyone you know? lol) and then experiences the pure joy of Easter.
15. Hop! Hop!
We have the Toot Toot book for obvious reasons. lol
These books by Leslie Patricelli are cute and short.
I like short books sometimes. Especially when she asks for “one more book” 15 minutes after her bedtime.
