Ok so these crafts aren’t exclusive to 3 year olds. They’re easy enough your 3 year old can make them. But if your child is older, they’ll definitely be able to do these crafts. Younger toddlers will definitely need some help from you.
And since our family is not religious, these are all secular. Yes, we celebrate Easter and Christmas even though we’re not religious. They’re American traditions!

Teach your preschooler about colors and patterns while you're working on your eggs.
Chromatography Coffee Filter Easter Eggs
My friend Julie created this craft for her 3 year old. Coffee filters are cheap and easy to work with. Your preschooler will be amazed at how chromatography works.
Adorable Easter Yarn Crafts for Kids
This is a perfect craft for your 3 year old to try. Especially if you're like me and have a bunch of yarn sitting around because you tried to learn how to crochet but then gave up after 20 minutes. We will definitely be making these this spring.
Simple Easter Watercolor Craft Using Sharpies
Did you know you can make watercolors with Sharpies? I didn't either! No, you don't have to let your preschooler loose with a Sharpie. You do that part to set it up. I know, I was worried too. But it's not any messier than regular watercolors.
Easter Craft Stick Puppets
You just need some simple craft supplies to make these stick puppets. Then your 3 year old gets to play with them. We're a big fan of crafts you can play with. My daughter will even try to play with crafts that are not meant to be played with. These are great for making little puppet shows and pretending.
Sponge Painted Easter Egg Basket
Sponge painting is like making your own stamps. This is a cute way to make an Easter basket with lots of colorful eggs.
Toilet Roll Peeps
Peeps are an Easter tradition. But you either love them or you hate them. I personally hate them. They are super cute though. So why not make a toilet paper roll Peep? At least you don't have to eat these.
Paper Plate Easter Bunny Craft
I'm a big fan of paper plate crafts. We go through a lot of paper plates. Look how adorable these Easter bunnies are!
Sticker Easter Eggs
This is a simple craft that even younger toddlers can do. My daughter loves stickers. We go through a lot of them. You can teach patterns and colors with this craft, and there's almost no mess. (Unless you get stickers on things you don't want stickers on.)
Space Eggs
If your 3 year old is interested in space like mine is, try these space Easter eggs. You can make them with wooden eggs so you don't have to throw them out after Easter is over.
Simple Easter Construction Paper Craft
Looking for an Easter craft that helps develop fine motor skills? This one involves gluing strips onto a circle. You can make wider strips to make it easier, or thinner strips to make it more challenging.
Salt Dough Easter Eggs
My BFF likes to make salt dough ornaments for Christmas. These are salt dough Easter Eggs you can use to decorate your house. Plus your 3 year old will have fun decorating them.
Button Easter Egg
Your preschooler's button egg probably won't look as pretty as the picture, but they'll have fun making it!
DIY Chalkboard Easter Eggs
Ok so you will have to do most of this craft. But your preschooler will love decorating the eggs with chalk. Plus you can just erase them and do it all over again.
Easter Egg Slime
What craft list is complete without slime, amiright? You can make slime with Easter egg colors and then play with it.
Easy Handprint Lambs
My 3 year old has been obsessed with drawing the outline of her hands. We're definitely going to try making these lambs this Easter.
Striped Easter Egg Craft
This is an easy craft that your 3 year old can do with just paper, scissors, and glue. You can let them work on their cutting stills with this one too.
Concentration Memory Match Game Easter Craft Project
This is a full on DIY game. You can create your own Easter memory match game with your preschooler and then play it.
Upcycled Easter Baskets Made from Milk Jugs
Your preschooler can make their own Easter basket out of milk jugs. Even if you don't use it for their basket, it's still fun to make. Then they can pretend to be the Easter bunny and leave eggs in it.
Easter Egg Potato Stamps
This is an Easter craft that I want to do. I would be perfectly happy making this craft without a kid. But my 3 year old would really love to do this. It's very colorful and I can't wait to try it!
Heart Bunny Craft
These bunny cards can be used for Valentine's Day or Easter. Teach your preschooler about the heart shape with this craft.
