Frozen II is creating a lot of hype over our favorite snow queen again. I’m not sure it ever went away, but we are all about Frozen right now.

Kellogg’s has a new Frozen II cereal out that is essentially Lucky Charms but the marshmallows are leaves and Olaf!

So to celebrate the new movie coming out and all things Elsa and Anna, here are some Frozen cereal treats you can make with your kids even as young as toddlers.

I’ve never made cereal treats that WEREN’T Rice Krispie treats before. But I recently found out you can make them with basically any cereal.

I know I shouldn’t be surprised about that. It makes sense. I just never thought to try anything new.

What’s the saying? If it ain’t broke…

But we found Frozen II cereal and of course my 4 year old had to have it. Good marketing, Disney.

We just spent all of Halloween pretending to be Elsa. Why not make Elsa treats?

This is an easy recipe that even toddlers and preschoolers can help you make.

Kids love to bake and be helpers. It’s a great fall and winter activity to do as a family.

The cereal is essentially re-branded Lucky Charms. So at least you know it’ll be good to eat.

The marshmallow shapes are Olaf and leaves. The rest of the cereal is your standard O’s. Great for making in to square marshmallow treats.

You could substitute the Frozen cereal for regular Lucky Charms or even Rice Krispies.

But your kid will probably enjoy the Frozen theme more if they get the actual cereal.

Instructions:

1. In large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.

2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.

3. Stir in one drop of light blue food coloring gel.

4. Remove from heat.

5. Add in Frozen cereal.

6. Stir until well coated.

7. Line a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan baking pan with parchment paper.

8. Evenly press mixture into the pan.

9. Cool. (I know it’s exciting, but you gotta let them cool down.)

10. Cut into squares.

This is such a cute idea! My daughter loves Elsa and would love to make these treats. Going to see if I can find the cereal at the store this weekend.
