Instagram is the one social media that bloggers can’t schedule, right? WRONG. Now you can schedule your Instagram posts and find the best hashtags to use all with one Instagram tool. Let’s take a quick tour.

Scheduling Instagram Posts is a Thing Now
Have you ever gone five days without posting to Instagram because you just kept forgetting? Yeah. I have. And as soon as I remember, it’s like 7am or 1am when it’s not ideal.
Well, Tailwind (The Pinterest scheduling tool) is now offering Instagram services.
It will even suggest the best time to post. Take all the guesswork out of your Instagram schedule because it just knows that 3:37 is the perfect time to post your photos based on your followers’ habits.
You can even crop your photos and add in your description from Tailwind. And you can upload your photos from your desktop which is so much easier if you edit your photos on your computer rather than on your phone. No more sending your edited photos to your phone from a dropbox or something.
Tailwind’s Instagram app also lets you preview what your profile will look like with your content posted. I’m not one to obsess over how my latest 9 or 12 posts look together, but I try to keep it somewhat consistent. The grid preview helps you plan all of that out.
Plus it has the coolest Hashtag finder
Do you just guess when it comes to hashtags? Or have you done extensive research and then copy and paste?
Well no need to do any of that anymore. The hashtag finder will show you how much a hashtag is being used and it will suggest the best ones for each post to grow your reach.
You’ll want to use a mix of the best hashtags and niche hashtags. The best ones will get you immediate reach, but the niche ones are more long term.
Think about it: if you search some really specific hashtag, your audience will find exactly what they’re looking for, and the top 9 most recent photos won’t just be from the last hour. They’ll be from the last month or so. Your post from two weeks ago will still be there front and center. Niche hashtags are long term and great for your Instagram.
Of course, you’ll want to choose a lot of the best hashtags, too. Those will get you immediate results.

You can even save your favorite hashtags in lists to reuse at the click of a button. It’s an amazing Instagram tool to have.
Try Tailwind for Instagram for Free
I’m a big fan of try before you buy. So if you are too, you can try it out now without even giving them your credit card. It will let you schedule 31 free posts to Instagram! (That’s a month free if you do one post per day.)
What kind of results can you get with this Instagram Tool?

Let me know in the comments below how it compares to Tailwind. So far this is the best app I’ve found to schedule AND do hashtag research.

Hi Niki!
Thanks so much for this post, we’ve been using Tailwind for Pinterest for years now and while I remember getting an email about Instagram support, I didn’t realize that Tailwind for Instagram now supports auto publishing.
We’ve been using Planoly which offers a lot of similar features but doesn’t automatically find optimal times like Tailwind seems to – I’m definitely going to look into it further.
If we end up signing up I’ll be sure to come back and do it through your affiliate link – not sure if you’ll get credited since we already have a Pinterest Tailwind account but here’s hoping!
Thanks again!
